Privacy and cookies
Lizumo asks for no account, uses no profiling cookies and sells no data. Here's what happens to your data, in plain words.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Alessandro, reachable at [email protected].
What the game saves in your browser
To remember your choices, the game saves in your browser, using localStorage: the name you enter, the language, the number of players, the mode you chose and the names of players at the table.
This data stays on your device and is never sent to us or anyone else. It only lets you find your settings again, and you can delete it at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser settings.
Visit statistics
To know how many people visit the site and which pages they read, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. According to Cloudflare, the service doesn't use cookies or localStorage to collect statistics and doesn't identify people by IP address or browser. We only see aggregate data, such as the number of visits, pages viewed, country and device type.
The game also sends Cloudflare anonymous match counts: when a game starts or ends, with mode, language, number of players and country. They contain no names, IP addresses or other identifiers and are only used to see how much people play.
Online games (one phone each)
If you play in One phone each mode, the name you choose and a random code generated by your browser (used only to give you back your seat if the connection drops) are sent to the room server, run on Cloudflare. The other players in the room see your name, your lives and your moves; only you see your covered dice.
We don't ask for accounts, email addresses or phone numbers. A room and everything in it are deleted automatically about 10 minutes after everyone has left it, and in any case within 6 hours of its creation. The random code and the code of your last room are also kept in your browser (localStorage), where you can delete them at any time.
Hosting and security
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes technical data such as IP addresses as a data processor in order to run and protect the service. Cloudflare states that it is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for data transfers to the United States.
Buy me a coffee
The “Buy me a coffee” link leads to Ko-fi, an external service. If you choose to donate, the data you enter is handled by Ko-fi and the payment provider (Stripe or PayPal) under their own privacy policies: we only receive what the service passes on to us, such as the name and message you choose to leave.
Cookies
The site uses no profiling cookies and no third-party advertising cookies, which is why we don't show a consent banner. If we ever add services that use non-technical cookies, we'll update this page and ask for your consent.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing and to object, under Articles 15 to 22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Write to us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
